Principal’s Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The fourth and fifth grade students have been given their SBAC scores from last school year testing. Please be sure to ask your child for the score sheet so you can review it together.
The Board of Education is working on a project early this fall in which they will be replacing oil tanks at each of the three elementary schools in town. There will be no disruption to educational services, bus entrances, exits, etc., and the work areas will be secured away from educational activities. The work is scheduled to start on September 17th and all three schools should be completed by October 9th. The project at Wakelee is expected to begin on Monday, September 24th but you may see some equipment on school grounds prior to the project start date. We wanted to keep you informed of these needed updates to our schools. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
The Wakelee PTO will be having the first meeting of the school year. Please consider getting involved with the PTO. They do so much for all the students and your support and time makes a difference in the activities and events offered to students. The first meeting is a Pizza Meet and Greet, come out and enjoy pizza while getting to know other Wakelee parents.

Dates to Remember:
• Wednesday, September 19th Pizza Meet and Greet 7 pm Wakelee Cafe

Enjoy the weekend!
